The Young Scientist series pairs a guide to inquiry learning for teachers of young children with a comprehensive guide and video for trainers. The result is a "triple-win" situation in which presenters, participants, and their preschool and kindergarten students get authentic hands-on/minds-on explorations in key areas. Discovering Nature with Young Children helps teachers use a developmental approach to guide children to open inquiry with plants and animals.
