Horn Book (The Horn Book Guide, Fall 1998) Designed specifically to help elementary school students in California complete classroom projects in conjunction with their studies of missions, Nelson's book explains how to make mission models out of a variety of materials, including papier-mache, sugar cubes, and pasta. Illustrated with diagrams and color photos (but none of the completed models), the instructions are too complex and detailed and will require adult assistance to complete. Ind.
